Thermostat/Sender/Inj light..... please help!
1999 1.8 156 TS
At recent service I had the thermostat changed, immediately the injector warning light came on. The fault was identified as the sender and 'deactivated' I think. The engine has been running ok, a bit of surging when going into idle after driving, but apart from that heating up nicely reading almost 90 degrees.
Sender replaced, immediately the light comes back on. The engine doesn't seem to like this (more surging when going into neutral, intermittantly high idling when hot, slow to start after a period of driving- but not when cold).
Does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I just want her to run right
