156 stuck oil dipstick bolt

Hi all,

I wonder if anyone has come across this before.
I'm currently changing my exhaust manifold on my 1.8ts, all 8 nuts that hold it to the head came out fine, the 4 holding the manifold to the downpipe came out fine but I'm completely stuck on the bolt holding the dipstick onto the engine. And this needs to come off to allow me to change the gasket.

I've soaked it in Plusgas for days still not budging, it really is stuck solid. I'm tempted to heat up the engine with a torch but worried about heating the head directly this way. Being a bolt holding this on I can't simply heat this up.

Any ideas from anyone for how I might remove it?

They are often very tight, for some obscure reason.....either use a longer bar on a socket, or you could try heating the bolt directly, then letting it cool - just the expansion and contraction might move it.....
