How does it look different then all the other R1's around? If i am not mistaken, then these mods are identical to what most do to their 156/147. And these guys drive around in "boring cars that looks the same as all others" These are your own words.
Something about "being different" comes up very often with you.
Let me claify something that you seem to have a general misunderstand towards.: Modding your car, does not set YOU apart from the rest us us mortals. It sets your CAR apart.
Your car is cool, technology you pay your mechanics to put in it is awesome and inspiring. Knocking people for driving stock looking cars is not so cool, especially since the other half of your garage is basically stock in my estimation.
Why did you bring my R1 into this thread?I never opened my mouth about bikes or R1s here but you decide to bring it in.
Peter K,as you were already told,I never said/stated that I ride a "custom bike"( I said I have a custom race exhaust system and end can,and customized bodywork, thats all),I said its a bit different to the common and standard R1s that you see.Its visually different and mechaniclly different to a standard R1.Thats a fact.
And as I already said, why bring a motorbike(an R1 at that) into a topic thats got nothing to do with bikes.
It was like you had nothing better to say to me than bring up my R1.
Have you got an R1 then Peter K?You still havent answered me on this. You seem to be good at dodging/avoiding questions that you are asked.
P.S-Thanks to Tee-O for stating the obvious and pointing the above out to Peter K.
Mr.Orange-I know R1s in general are common in Ireland,Uk and Europe, regardless of colour, theres different colour R1s on the market.I said that Alfa 156/147s in general are as common as muck(regardless of colour, theres different colour Alfas on the market too).Whats your point supposed to be,or do you even have a point to make, becuase I think you dont have a point to make, just stirring it up again as is usual with you.
Dont start your carry on in here(especially when it comes to myself and my cars and sports bikes).Unless you know about R1s and how to modify them/increase the power, that is.
.Maybe you know more about R1s than you do about tuned/modified cars, but somehow I dont think so.
And Peter K-If you dont have an R1,then go and get/buy one before you start going on about them and trying to talk about them to me.If you dont own/ride an R1 then lets leave it at that and keep to the topic in hand.
I dont want to talk about R1s here, but if you want to keep this up then go ahead. Its pretty pointless in relation to a 156 though.
I still dont see why you had to bring an R1 into this thread, when it had nothing to do with it in the first place.
Why dont you go and start up a thread yourself about R1s and I will talk to you there all you want to about R1s and how to tune/modify them and how the EXUP Valve system on the R1 works.Otherwize just leave it alone, this thread is about cars(supposed to be) and not bikes.Thanks.
