Warning lights on dash (Mcsf)

Well only a 10 day owner of a 2005 GT 1.9 jtd, and got a mcsf light come up when stoping at a petrol station on the motor way. I was trying out the speed and gave her a good run through.

Decided to go and buy the chinese bluetooth odbc and torque pro, to go and see whats up.
The light went off sometime after when driving and stayed off.

Then the next day it turned on again, and its still on presently.

Diagnosed with torque, the codes returned something with EGR.
Took it apart , cleaned it, though it was pretty clean to begin with (compared to the ones i saw in the tutorials).

Now do these lights have a life of their own, and should just ignore em as I can wipe with Torque, but I am not sure if I should, or do I have somekind of problem , a proffesional should look at.

Car drives normal btw.

p.s(Airbag light came on, took some ducktape and taped together the connectors underneath the drivers seat, and it went away. Those connectors look like they got put together by a 5 year old :/ )
