I recently purchased and jumped from 146 to 156 1.9 JTD ....
the car is great but i just have two things that do not get it.
1.Former owner of the car has changed the thermostat and coolant temperature sensor (see that the newly placed) .... The problem is that after engine warms up, the pointer continues to climb almost to the maximum, but the car .... works without mistakes and is not overheating. Also nor coolant warning light comes on (red) .... so is the short circuit somewhere on the temperature sensor or on the pointer?
2.It has automatic air conditioning system and is heating without fail. When i put on AUTO and set temp on 21 ° C, and in the morning when it is cold it takes cca.5 minutes to slowly turn on the fan and starts to heat up.
The problem with the cooling ... these days it got warm (it was 20 ° C outside other day, in a car parked in the sun, and in cabin was perhaps 30 ° C) ... i had set temp at 18 °C , and after a few minutes fan began blow air strongly but air conditioning compressor (lamp / switch with "snowflake") was not turned on.Also i noticed that it did'nt work either that knob(light) for air circulation in the car ...
I was reviewing instructions 20 times and they have just an explanation how to switch aircondition system from Manual to automatic….(0-AUTO,0-AUTO) ... What i did not touch it, because now when i start the car that airconditioning lamp is OFF and I wanted to stay like that.
Thank you in advance for your answers
