147 2.0 TS cutting out, showing injector error.
My 147 2.0TS 2002 127000km has been making weird things lately.
A couple of months ago, I was on my way to work when the engine stalled on the highway. I got it to the side of the road, and called help.
Then I remembered the MAF issues I have had on some earlier Alfa TS engines, and went and disconnected the MAF.
The car started and I could go to work. On my way home the engine cut out a few times, and died again.
This time I got the road help to pick me up. When we tried with a battery booster the car started both with and without MAF connected.
I bought a new battery and all have been fine until today.
On my way home it started cutting out and finally died, it would not start this time with the MAF disconnected.
I called for help, and after preparing the towing hook in the front, I tried to start the car again, and it started.
I quickly drove home with some cutouts on the way.
Back home I connected Multiecuscan and it shows injector error on all 4 injectors, 3000rpm, and about 14v on battery.
Everything seems fine when I do the tests in Multiecuscan, as I can hear the injectors clicking away.
The car has been a bit a bit rough and jerky for a long time, but no cutouts.
I dont think it is an alternator problem, as it measures 14,4v-14,7v when running.
I have read about the cranksensor, could this be causing this ?
