Well, yes, there are isofix points, but in all honesty the back of a GT is not suitable for a child seat. Ok as maybe a one-off.
I bought my daughter and son-in-law a recaro rear-facing child seat a couple of christmases ago for their 5 door Ford Focus, it's hard enough getting the boy in and out of that. Obviously rear-facing is no good in a 2 door, but your missus armed with child, pushchair, handbag, shopping and chrissakes what-all else..... is going to break stuff.
Starting with the seat tilt cable/lever, if that breaks (and they do) she'll reduce the rest of the car to its component parts in frustration.
Nah, the GT is not for you. Shame, they're great cars.
