If your wife moans then start talking about getting a motorbike. Sports cars seem a much better, more sensible choice then

(from a 6ft, 200lb man with back problems - but i did run a Lotus Elan until the second kid arrived, by which time it definately wasn't practical!)

When my daughter was 6 my [ex] wife bought an MX5. When she was 14 I was considerate and bought a Ferrari Mondial which did have token seats in the back

We did have a boring thing for general use mind, a Honda Accord and later a VW Passat.

You have a dull car (the missus motor) buy the GT.
Granted a 156/159 would be great too (I considered it) but if you love the GT's looks then buy it.
