You're basically just using it as a screen and a way of routing audio through the car's speaker system? Even so that is impressive. Have you had it up & running in your car or just on a bench?
Lol, yeah, ok,ok, its just a screen and speakers, go ahead, p*ss on my fireworks !!
I ve had the video/audio in for 3 years with a DVB T box running through it. My car is, ahem, having a long stay at the garage at the moment, so not actually connected it in the car, just on the bench, but I ve had the rest of the kit for long enough to know its just a case of plugging the Android box in. Measured the glovebox so know the Android box will fit on the top right of it (its a small unit, 10x14x3cm), suspended from the top. Got a neat little remote control for it that fits almost unobscured behind a steering wheel spoke. Had hoped to post pics of it in the car, with all teething probs ironed out, but couldnt wait, lol.

Yeah, it was especially "fun" trying to communicate with various Chinese companies
Have had the idea of possibly selling the kit to do it all in the back of my mind for a while. Not exactly gonna be flooded with requests for it, but I thought with maybe a few people on here and maybe a few people on an Italian Alfa site I m a member of I could possibly get 10 people who were interested. Spoke to a few of the suppliers of the equipment and managed to get promises of some discounts if I ordered 10 of everything, so cost would be £235-245 so far, could hopefully get it down lower if I spoke to the rest. Kit would include, video in box, Android DVB T box, learning steering wheel remote control, 5V power adapter (for the Android box) and infrared extender. Wouldnt include DVB T aerial. Or audio in device - there are a good few ways to do this, from a simple, hard wired FM modulator (NOT transmitter), to a Dension, Xcarlink, Yatour, Bluebird, Solisto or Connects2 CD Changer emulator etc, that would be up to the individual. The video in box has 2 video connectors, one for video, the other an auto switching input for a reverse cam.
