Moaning GT doesn't like city driving ....

Just back from dropping friends of in the city centre Glasgow. Driving from one set of traffic lights to the next , up steep one ways and roads with more pot holes than the moon. Roadworks galore Clutch seems to get heavier and heavier , folks walking in front of you oblivious to whats going on around them , lovers galore all looking smug GTs are not for driving around the town ...think I will go for a lie down ...!

The clutch on my old gt started getting heavy when the car was hot and had been running for a while. I sorted it by spraying the clutch actuating lever and linkage in the engine bay with a silicone spray. May be worth a try

Know exactly whay you mean, rush hour start, stop traffic and the clutch just gets heavier and heavier, not good but get it out on the open road and it becomes what it is...

...a Grand Tourer and lightens up, fantastic

I find the biggest issue with city driving is the lack of parking sensors on mine. I found rear view visibility quite poor when I first began driving her.

Also the wide turning radius with the 18" wheels does not aid in parallel parking

I used to hate inner city driving with a manual Alfa. Since owning the Q-System, I now love it...tootling along between the traffic lights with no drama as you watch other drivers sweating with their left legs shaking So much they are about to pass out with the effort of holding the clutch pedal down.
Bloody irony is I will need to visit a fuel station or two, so I can't be that smug....
