reliable to a fault

i am a district nurse using a 2.0 tspark 147 for my daily rounds
i have had my car for 9 months now and it has been bulit proof
i turn my alfa on and off more than thirty times a day and is in constant town traffic use the car has not used any oil and has been a joy which is more than can be said for some of the nurses using a certain german brand . i have also had a driving holiday in northern spain and it never missed a beat and it still did not use any oil .

this is the 7th fiat in the family which has been reliable to a fault i will give my stilo a miss which was a dog and a ***** to drive it was back wards after the bravo .

dont belive the german bs

Here here! every make has a bad day on the line but I am on my 9th Italian car, and the only time I was left stranded it was my fault for not putting the battery lead back on properly

Re: reliable to a fault

My fondest car/memory is of a FIAT 127, not many people have fond memories of them.

I hate witha vengence Opels/Vauxhalls...... my dad had several, all of them broke down for the same stupid reason

Re: reliable to a fault

clint, quickly check under ur hood to make sure someone didnt replace ur TS with a toyota VVT engine while u weren't looking!

good to hear some good news for a change. but i do have to say that a TS that doesnt consume oil sounds more like a fluke than anything. ur a lucky guy, clint!
