Hi Andy, Welcome to AO, enjoy the ride.

My temp gauge only ever gets to 90, and if I'm idling with air con running full blast the temp does drop, but if I'm running normally with air con on the temp stablises at 90.

Hope this helps.

Hi mine sits at 90 when driving at speed it depends on temp if its cold it will drop as soon as i slow down how far depends on the temp if its 2 or so it can get down to 70 as soon as i speed up goes back up.Think its just an Alfa lol ??? Ps is it a diesel if you run the heater it take heat from the engine as diesels run a lot cooler than petrols thats why temp gauge goes up down

Hi Thanks for the replies, when im on a long run it sits at 90, ive never owned a diesel before i will monitor it, just when at idle i would expect it to reach temperature ie 90.

Mine never reaches 90. I have just bought a thermostat and will change it.
Changed the thermostat on my 98 A4
Bought and need to fit the the 916 Spider
As above my GT.

What is it with thermostats?
