Now a proud Alfa GT owner!
Well, I remember I asked about a GT I was going to buy like a couple weeks ago.
After a careful consideration and all the assurance I got from loads of receipts including the receipt of the purchase back in 2004, it all sounded good despite of its high mileage of 140k.
It is a gabbiano blue with black interior, 1.9 JTD, 140k miles(already reaching 143k marks at the moment though!), cambelt&water pump at 138k, recon turbo at 108k, clutch&dmf at 110k, four sets of new snow tyres at 138k etc etc.
I must say I was a bit worried and paranoid about what if the GT can't make it home? (I bought in Lancashire and I live in Newcastle upon Tyne so it's a good 150 mile drive)
Well, it did beautifully and early this week, I took it to London. Around 650 mile round trip. Couldn't have been more enjoyable drive ever!
Well, thanks for everyone who helped me and let me jusk ask a question.
What kind of cars would be in the same class as alfa gt's?
One of my mates are like Alfa Romeos are cheap cars as used and they are kind of cars you buy when you can't afford Germans. I was greatly mortified as at least I believe Alfa is in different league and GT's were quite expensive when it was new. Also, I think GT's are better looking, better drive and better everything than Audi TT or BMW E46 coupes etc.
I love this car and as it has high mileage, I will just drive it till it breaks.
