Replacing 156 Scuttle Trims

The scuttle trims on my 156 are quite worn so I managed to find a replacement set.

In the last year I've replaced my clutch, done the cambelt change, discs, and exhaust.

I thought this would be the one thing that would be easy. Wrong!

I'm not really sure how to go about getting the old ones off. In particular the screws. On top of that, I think I will likely need to replace the screws.

So any advice on how to remove them the scuttle trim?

How to remove these screws?

And where I can find replacement screws?

Any other advice regarding this?

Just give them a good soaking with plusgas or wd40 to free them. You'll probably need a star bit set if they're the original screws. The ones covered by the bonnet will probably be ok, but the two under the plastic caps at each corner will be rusted and stuck. If they won't come out you'll need to drill them out. Make sure you don't damage the paint - use a small enough bit in a battery or variable speed drill if you can. The outer screws are ordinary self tappers I think.
