Alfa GT 3.2 MCSF, thoughts?
So my GT have the MCSF failure , havn't made any diag on it for awhile now but the symptoms are :
When starting the car and idling for 10-15sec's the MCSF comes, directly when driving off or even revving standing still it stops. The last two weeks the MCSF comes on directly and the engine light stays on while driving but this might due to the cold weather, minus 8-17'C.
The car is running great normally but when it's extremely cold outside the car is s-s-s-slow, feels like it's heavier than a truck!! Or that the rear wheels are stuck, but they arnt, the handbrake might have freezed, havn't checked.. After driving for awhile it stop.
The garage have searched for 8+hours and found nothing, changed spark-plugs. Changed a lambda which gave fail-code on the diag, but the new one gives the same. The changed half the ignition coils and when that didn't work they swapped places on them all, searched for leaks and also a new battery.
While driving the car it gets perfect exhaust/emission values but when idling and when the MCSF comes on it goes CRAZY! like when stopping for a red light.
I would like to try another MAF but they are so expensive here in Sweden, and I can't just borrow one and try even if I wanted too.
What are you're thoughts, any ideas? I guess I will have to order a new MAF, or?
