Replace idle control valve CF2 2.0 TS - easy?
I need to replace my idle control valve in my 156, it seems deceptively easy on te face of it, two screws and a plug? My mechanic suggested getting a throttle body out of a wrecked car but I don't want to pay the exorbitant price a wrecker would put on, for a car which will likely hunt for idle again afterwards as the ICV will be old and used. For reference I had a 156 at 6 years old and 60k km, hunt for idle, annoying.
Just looking for any advice on replacing it. Is there any special steps to take? It's a 1999, as far as I know cable throttle. But I don't think the ICV varies depending on that.
