156...Heated Rear Window

Can anyone help...I bought my 2004 156 a couple of months ago, and i noticed the heated rear window was taking an age to clear (but did work) when the weather was cold...Well now it has completely given up. My first check was obviously the fuse which was fine, so i dont really know my next move, any ideas would be really appreciated

Mine has never worked and cannot find what the problem was as its probably a broken wire behind some panel where the airbags are and i'm not messing with those things.
When i was investigating this problem i was told as well as the fuse there is a relay behind the glove box and you can check this by turning the switch for the rear de mister on and off and you should hear clicking noise behind the glove box.
My relay was still working cos i could hear it click and my heated mirrors still work.
