I spoke with a dealer today and asked what's the real mpg from the jtdm 2 engine . .and he says he averages nearer 45 rather that the 60 mpg. that for me knocks any business case to change squarely on the head!!
Fuel economy's rarely a good enough reason by itself to change cars, not unless it's gonna cost you next to nothing to change. Upgrading to a more expensive car will never pay itself back purely in terms of fuel unless you drive silly miles or plan on keeping the car for a decade, hehe.
