Re: Things to consider on changing the brake fluid?
Whilst the traditional pumping the pedal works OK, a Gunsons Eezibleed kit makes it a whole lot easier. Alfa 75s were demons to bleed the brakes on by the pump-pedal method. Where you have multiple piping and ABS blocks, a nice 'one way' flow gently pressurised by a tyre greatly reduces the chances of getting air in the system. Once in, air can be very difficult to get out.
I'd get an EeziBleed, but just be careful how tight you screw the cap on the fluid reservoir. tight enough to seal, but not too tight or you will damage it. Also the fluid supply bottle with the Eezibleed can leak if it tips over so make sure it is stable before you commence.
As always..read the instructions..This piece of kit makes life a lot easier and means you can do a top job all on your own.
