Is Selenia WR 5w40 still the best ??

Is the selenia WR 5w40 still the best oil to use for my 1.9JTD 2006 GT ? I have 5 litres of Fuchs SUPER SYN 5w40 already and was considering just using this ??

however my alfa has always been serviced main dealer and is currently on 116k and has always had WR.

If WR is recommended where is the cheapest place to purchase ?

thanks !!

Any oil of the correct spec will be more than good enough (in my opinion!)

The Fuchs will be better than selenia.

my 147 JTD is currently running Mobil 1 5w40 with no problem, as mentioned above as long as it's the correct specification i don't see as it'll make any difference

I contacted my favourite oil manufacturer '' MILLERS '' in Yorkshire once I'd bought the Alfa in September to ask the tech man what Millers I should use in it . Having asked me the year and my use ie. I tow the race car a few times a year , he said I should use exactly the same spec as in my race engine(a 2lt zetec 231bhp TB ) which is their 5w40 nanodrive . Have a google and read it up , an awesome top spec oil . I'll be draining it at 8,000 miles though not the 18,000 in Alfa's handbook !!!

Selinia is not a mythical magic oil. It's a basic oil.

Fuchs make good oil so I'd happily use it
