well the low profile ELM327 arrived today, still doesn't quite fit behind the panel with the socket in it's usual place, ho hum. Anyways, phone linked to it ok and torque did find it, and seems to be able to talk to my ECU. Can't confirm much in the way of readings, will need time to play around with things a bit more, but initial results positive at any rate. So looks like both units I bought work, I'll see if I can find time to play more over the weekend, work permitting.
As far as your specific car goes, best to find someone who's confirmed they have a working unit and which one, check the other threads here, just search for ELM327.
For battery drain, I was thinking to break out the +ve feed (pin 16 I believe) via a switch, maybe in the top part of the coin tray, as I don't really plan to be running torque all the time, so why have the BT ELM unit powered while it's not being used.
