Thanks for the input Guys
There's definitely no clicking or noticeable vibration when on full lock booting it, I know what you mean by that though, I've been in enough shagged mini cabs.
When you say stand on the brakes, I assume you mean the brake pedal, be a bit tricking standing on the caliper with a wheel on. I got my Wife to do that and the play doesn't change, brake on or off.
I said 'assume' because for the suspension work, I used one of the 2 top Alfa specialists I frequent and I'm sure their Techs wouldn't use a worn out part, they have no need to. So 'assume' was probably the wrong word.
Rubbers at top of strut that you said about are there and are brand new as are the ones on the spring perches. Cool.
All bushes were greased too, i remember seeing that when it was on the lift and I just looked at them all now too.
Liking your Green Serpent site by the way! It's come in handy.
As I say, I use top Garages so all the parts are either Alfa Romeo or better OEM, I'd never buy stuff like that off Ebay.
Bit of a weird one with the drop link tear, I need to chat to someone about that
Not exactly a hard or lengthy job to change though.
I'll get the bearing and CV joints checked out by the Pro's, if they need sorting, I'll get em done. I'm sort of hoping they do need sorting, see what difference new stuff makes. I really just wanted to see what people thought , I'm always curious about this stuff, expand the knowledge etc. Having read about bearings, there's no way I'd bother trying to either change the hub and/or bearing myself.
