Alfa 156 little niggles
Hi guys I am new to the forum, and thought I should jump on the Alfa band wagon, the other day I bought a 156 2.4 jtd SW for £1000, it has full service history and is in fairly good condition, the car drives good, plenty of power for an 18 year old but it does have a few problems,
When I push the clutch down fast, the pedal sticks to the floor for a second then springs back up again, I checked the service history and an Alfa specialist recorded that the slave cylinder was "sweating fluid" on its 95000 mile service. The car has now done 120,000 miles and there is no receipts of the job being carried out, probably because it's a gearbox off job to do! If it could be anything else please tell me what it could me.
Also the remote locking has gone on the blink! The key still works in the lock but the remote button doesn't work, it did work when I got the car, any ideas?
That is mostly all that is wrong for now, any help would be greatly appreciated!
