Yes, the ones I linked to are fine in my reflector lenses. I've had no problems with them and the light output is brilliant.
The 147/GT doesn't use CAN-BUS for the lights as far as I'm aware, so you should be ok with the non-CAN-BUS kit.
It doesn't show any errors on the bulb check on my 156 and although that is pre-CAN, I'm sure the check control circuit works in the same way on the 147/GT.
If you want to be completely sure, the CAN-BUS kits are only a tenner more anyway.
As for heat in the GTA engine bay, my 156 is fine with the 3.0 which has the same layout properties as both the 147 a 156 GTA engine bays.
My ballasts are mounted at the top of the wheel arches; left above washer bottle, right below coolant expansion tank.
