Sheesh! If it was any other car you would look for obvious things such as frozen fluid, pipes that have popped off due to ice blockage or been snagged by bonnet hinges, broken/damaged non-return valves or simply just a blockage in the nozzle (not in a hard water area by any chance are you?!)
Because its an Alf someone immediately shrieks "aaaargh - the pump has blown up and will probably take half my electrics and alternator with it..."
This happens to loads of cars every day.
Woke up the wrong side of the bed ?
I checked all of that making sure the was not a split in the piper or frozen and so on, Thats how i worked out the pump is not working.
I posted this topic to see if anyone else had this problem.
Tried the hot water trick no luck so its fuse or pump, Where is the fuse box on a 147
So no not just because its an Alfa,
Problem wise car is spot on this is the 1st "Problem" in the six'ish months of owning it.
In 4 months of my Bmw E46 i hat to replace, Diff, Header tank, Coolant pipes, Engine Mount, The list goes on.
So no i was not saying anything about because its an Alfa.
