Short dealership report

Yesterday my Alfa was at the dealership for some issues. Sadly enough the new key -the remote on my current keys are not working- hadn't arrived yet from Italy. Which means I have to pay an extra visit

For the rest I was really satisfied with their job / service. I thought I needed new brake pads but I also got brand new brake discs as well. Although I have warranty, I think there are a lot of dealers out there who would only have replaced the pads.

The cambelt, tensioners and all other related stuff have been replaced because there was no proof they were ever replaced (since delivery in 2001). They thought the risk was too high which I agree of course.

During the stay at the dealership my radio died. They replaced it with a brand new one. thing about it is that I have now matching green lights in instrument cluster and radio.

And all of the above free of charge

Took my baby in for stuffed alternator, they replaced missing engine mounting bolt for free, and that from an independent.

Re: Short dealership report

well when i tryed to get a new key i was told it had to come from italy at a cost of 169 euros and a futher 80 euros plus vat to cover 1 hours labour to programme it-it took 5 months for the stealer to finally get it in so i told him to stick it i could probably fly to italy cheaper and get it myself plus a free suntan -my original key started working again so it was ok
