Hey all thanks for the quick replies.
I went down to a different suplier today and asked to have a look at a Valeo made part. Wow what a difference. I think its a component quality falure.
The Valeo part was very solid and the thrust bearing was as smooth as a babies bottom. It seems that the part i had originaly bought had a stiff thrust bearing so much so that it rubed on the rubber gator.
I think, i only think, that the stiff thrust bearing was binding on the slave cylinders piston causing it to spin with the bearing rather than the bearing running smoothely. The Valeo part looks far more better quality all round. It has a hardened Thrust bearing and a far better gator not to mention the inlet tube is of a higher grade of plastic. The casting is far better too. The alloy has been heat treated, the part is far better greased all round.
So I am thinking its a cheap rubish part. For the third time though i am having to part the gearbox out. so so frustrating, i shall update once i have completed fitting the Valeo cylinder.
If it works I should think it safe to say "Always use a top quality part" White box patern parts are just garbage and not worth the money or hasle.
I shall start it tomorrow, lets see what happens.
