Just registered here.
Im having a bit of an issue with the clutch on my 2005 147 TS.
Yesterday i came off the motorway and slowed down as you do.. Went to change down a gear or two and the clutch didnt feel right, it had a lot of "slack" until i felt some resistance.
It then would not go into gear.
I managed to get into gear after a few presses of the clutch.
By the time i got home the pedal felt normal again
And then today the same issue after another 10mile motorway journey. It almost as if the problem is developing with im not using the clutch pedal/release mechanism.
Whats the likely cause of this? Master cylinder on the pedal? Slave cylinder?
The pedal does now have an odd "creak", but still feels fine when driving through town.
I went to have a look for a fluid leak around the top of the gearbox(looking for the slave cyl), but it seems like some complete IDIOT designer has decided to use a cylinder that mounts inside the bell housing
Which i can imagine will be an absolute nightmare to change.
Not sure if this is an Alfa thing or not as its my first one.
Any replies are appreciated
