GT errors P1151 P1131
I just got my second GT yesterday and our 6th Alfa.
The previous owner said before it was serviced it had an error message come on but had been fine since being serviced. (I presume the garage reset it?) When driving it home, as he warned, the message came back up: Motor Control System Failure (which it now says every time you turn on the ignition) and the yellow engine logo display is permanently on (when driving). The previous owner said the garage had run diagnostics and had 'C02 sensor before CAT' message so I figured it to be a lambda sensor or catylitic converter problem and took it to Kwik Fit today. They ran the diagnostic and got errors P1131 and P1151 and said they did not know what these meant and I would need to take the car to the Alfa dealership. Any idea what these mean? From another post on here, looks likes lambda sensor problems...
However, I have a receipt from the previous owner's garage from last month with: Examine diagnostics, fit ignition coil, ignition coil 3, rewire lambda sensors, fit injector, injector 3, seals x4, gasket, air and pollen filters... £962.
If anyone knows what the error codes mean, do they know what else could need replacing/fixing?
