MAF and Wheel bearing advice!

Morning all!

Ok, new MAF sensor ordered (yippee), when its fitted will that turn off the EML?

Also I'm a bit confused about wheel bearings. do all cars use the same ones at the front? Also all the ones I've seen come in a square housing that looks as if it bolts on - if so why would you still need a press?

Sorry if I'm being really dense here.

Must say that so far I'm really impressed with this car, it's better than I thought an Alfa would be!

fitting a new maf won't neccessarily turn the light off, but could do if itnwas then only fault that the ecu has recognised.

you may need a friend with MultiECUScan or something (anywhere near me, pop along, i'll plug her in!)

wheel bearing are very different car to car.

if you buy the bearing alone, that when you would need to press it into your hub/carrier having pressed the old one out,

the other part you have found sounds to me like the hub/carrier complete with bearing installed already, so would be a bolt on part.

hope this helps

bearings are different for diesels
u need a big press to get your hub out of the bearing and holder you have seen, u cannot get to bolt heads for the hub boss
