I had the same problem, plus the hex bolts had welded themselves into the oil cooler which would have snapped , so all I did was buy a 13 row oil cooler from eBay for £35 (which fitted straight onto the original bolt holes),bought 2 hose tail fittings and 2 new lengths of hose.
The best and easiest way to gain access is to remove front bumper first which takes 2 minutes.
Remove old oil cooler and pipes, grind off the old crimps on hose fittings on engine side, fit the new hose tail fittings and old alfa fittings to new hose using jubilee clips and bobs your uncle.
Another thing you can do before fitting the old alfa fittings is coat with an anti rust paint to stop those corroding.Overall it cost me about £50,a fraction of the price considering one pipe from alfa costs around £100.
