Fan Assembly - Tip

Small but usefull tip:

If you ever tried changing radiator on your 156, chances are you snapped one of the bolts that holds the fan assembly to the Radiator. They snap reay easy !!!

When they snap, the thread stays in the radiator, leaving the bolt hole useless. So thats usually where the "tight rep solution" comes into play.

I have seen a lot of ageing 156's out there, where the fan assembly is held on by one or more strips

However... The Radiator has extra bolt holes in both sides, so it is actually possible to turn the fan assembly 180 degrees, giving you 3 new unused bolt holes on the Radiator.

remember you also have to turn the fan itself, so that the plug faces up again. Its just held in place by 3 bolts/nuts..

Simple, but it saved my day
