Rusting Oil Cooler pipes GT

Hi all just had look at the oil cooler pipes after reading about them rusting badly and a possable leak occuring .Well out of 4 connections the worst one by far was the one tucked under the left side the corrosion was quite bad .As I understand it this is the one that leaks I can understand why ?? .The best way to get at it is to remove the drivers side wheel and wheel arch cover also the undertray .I sanded all the pipes down, cleaned them, covered them with Rust preventative then painted them with Hammerite Paint .I advise you to check your pipes as well. If they fail you could Damage your engine at worse, or just suffer a leak, this seems to be the most likely .
