To get big bhp increrases from an engine (especially a 1.4 or a 1.6 litre N/A engine)you have to be willing to experiment with different engine configurations and turbo setups.I was and am prepared to to this.I like to think of it as a challange for me.
You cant just jump an engine from 105bhp standard to just on 300bhp for a few quid
.I wish it was that simple and easy but in reality its not,it can be very tricky, complicated and costly too.
U need to do R and D research for ur engine spec and compression ratios to see what the best parts are to use, then fabrication/fitment,and testing of some custom parts, and then the labour costs of building such an engine.
Also experimenting with different cam profiles and hybrid turbo setups isnt cheap either.
Maybe you should try to have a go at building such an engine before u deem it fit to mock or slag myself or any other person who pushes the boundaries when it comes to tuning and making powerful Alfa engines.
Thanks.I hope you respect/understand what I have just said Black Beauty.
