Re: 159 in Monaco....!!!!in beautiful
The car looks superb, especially in that metallic red. There are some nice angles and surfaces on this car unlike the newer more BMWs which just look UGLY Alfa have a window of opportunity here...
The handbrake looks ideal for RHD version but must be awkward for LHD... its usually the other way around. Quite why we still bother with this sort of mechanical handbrake I don't know. Surely a electronic one would save some space and allow for bigger seats.
As for cup holders I wish there was an option to delete them ... I won't let people (my kids) eat or drink in my car any more... just means more mess and more stops for "the toilet" !
Alfa have to ditch the idea of sharing showrooms with Fiat they should use the good quality Alfa specialists in the UK and avoid like the plague the likes of Arnold Clark who just bring down Alfa reputation. The difference in the professionalism of BMW and Jaguar dealers in my experience is light years ahead of Alfa (in Aberdeen anyway).
Its the after selling experience of major dealerships that will get repeat custom for Alfa, I know this because I ended up in a Jag S Type instead of the 166 .... but I'll be back for a Brera... I promise
