Help Steve

Hi Everyone,
I am fairly new to all this, but thought i would give it a shot.
I have a 147 1.6 T.S. The problem i have is that sometimes my gear sticks in gear and sometimes selects the wrong gear. Normally when i am stopped at traffic lights. If i press the clutch in and vigorously waggle the gear stick about it eventually goes back into neutral and i can select the correct gear again. Also when i am in neutral there seems to be a lot of play in the gear stick. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated

Hello Steve,

At the top of the forum page there are some how to guides in red;there is one under Transmission for how to fix a sticky 147 gearchange; you might want to get the gearbox bushes from Autolusso too; only 10 delivered. Not certain this will sort it( I have 156 ) but sounds like it could be the proverbial cheap fix! Just add a bit of your time and bingo!

Hope it helps
