GT JTD 1.9 - new clutch / DMF after 140K miles on the original!

Is this one for the record books? I have just had a new clutch and dual mass flywheel fitted to my 2004 GT after nearly 140,000 miles of driving. Simply amazing!

The clutch pedal was so heavy by the end that it felt like I was pressing weights with my left foot. The pedal was always heavy but now with the new parts, it is like night and day. So light, it is simply a delight to drive - just like a new car. I wish I had done it a lot sooner and enjoyed my car more over the past few years.

had you ever done the 'drip oil down the shaft' fix, on the old clutch?

for most people, it gets rid of the heavy/stiff/notchy feel

I have just seen THIS full kit...seems very cheap if it's OE quality.

I was considering a SMF conversion when/if I need to do mine.
