156 JTD fix key fob

I went out the other day, locked the car using the fob and when I returned I found the fob button squishy and could'nt activate to unlock. So although I can open using the key blade, operate the boot unlock button and drive (after the alarms stops) I need to get this fixed.

I have a 52, black, 2 button fob and I'm based in London.

1. Whats the cheapest and reliable way to do this?
2. I've seen ads. on a well known auction site where you can buy second hand fobs. Can I simply push out pin replace with my blade and then get the fob re-programmed (my service station can do the reprogramming - although they have only done with a new key direct)?
3. I've found there are some companies which can take your key and fix the electronics. Anyone have experience of this or recommend someone on the forum?

There is a member on here who uses Ebay to sell his services. Well recommended. Search key repair and you will find details here.
