Me too on squealing DS 2500s :thumbs
I did bed them in as instructed, honest
Yep, same here.. its not a difficult process. I also researched just about every page available online about bed in processes - well ok, not very single page... but I spent hours
They stayed quiet for about a week, then unbearable squeal. It probably doesn't help that I live in the country so my brakes aren't used very hard most of the time.
I was on the verge of downgrading to OEM pads when i decided to copperslip them. I know there are better options but I made my decision on a Sunday, and I couldnt find any specialist anti squeal products in the shops that happened to be open.. So I used what I had at the time. In any case, its commonly used for this purpose.
It's only been 10,000kms and they have remained perfectly quiet with no performance loss at all.. not that i thought there would be. So iuts worked out really well. It may not last as long as the specialist stuff, but so far im happy
I decided to fit the ds2500 because i wanted a firmer peddle and better performance.. I was told their cold performance was better than oem and of course their hot performance rocks.. I don't do track days, but many who have them here in Oz don't either.. I gotta say, now the noise is gone, they are by far the best pads I've ever had on any car in 20 years of many cars!
There's absolutely no downside at all...
other than the cost of them...
