Smoking a little a problem???

My 147 (2005) JTD 16v runs what I call fine with no issues and has just tipped the 70k mark however I find that when I accelarate pushing the gas pedal to the boards getting beyond 2500 revs i seam to put out some black smoke - not plumes just a smal mist Is this normal. I also found that same revs but accelerater pedal only half way for instance doesn't seam to produce any smoke.

Should I be worried?

By the way service is good & up to date
