The block is actually a slightly different height, the CF2 is longer. You may find the downpipe sits rather close to your sump if you fit the earlier engine. Ideally get a 2.0 TS CF3 exhaust manifold and downpipe. Also there are plenty of minor differences, cambelt cover is different, the ally casting that holds the ancillaries at the timing belt end of the engine is different too. So is the bracket that bolts onto the back of the block and onto the inlet manifold (support?). It can be done but make sure you get all these bits as well as the bare engine or you're going to get stuck halfway through.
