I find you have to be patient here Lyngaas, answers don't always happen in a day. And sometimes an Examiner/AlfaDiag or FES is the best way to start diagnosing issues like this.
Pump sounds normal if 5 secs or so, doubt it's pressure related. Could well be the gearbox if it's crunching badly. I'm no expert, others know a lot more than I do, but if I were you, I'd get it plugged into a Diag system.
Are you sure the Actuator needed changing?? That's an expensive fix!! And not always necessary. I've known mechanics who blame the actuator too quickly when the issue is elsewhere. So who changed it, why, and can you take it back to them and ask questions??
Worth trying my old battery fix, just in case. Unplug the front battery terminal, leave for at least 15 minutes, replug in, tighten and see what happens.
P.S Selespeed Pump relay is the small black square thing near the top, just above the main wiring loom. Pulls out towards the front of the car (mine has been causing issues, but very different to your gear crunching problem). Its between the battery and the engine basically. Take out, clean the contacts, put it back in.
