Missing interior??

Hi All,

This is my first post in here, I will do a proper introduction in the newbie area shortly

I have a 2005 GT, and I think there's something missing from the interior.... Underneath the armrest, next to the hand brake, there seems to be a section about 3 cm wide and 15 long (very rough as I can't be arsed to go and look right now. There's what looks like the end of a wiring loom coming out through the bottom of it, with a plug on it.

Any one able to shed any light on this!?

Yeah, you have the base trim missing. It's a piece of rubber in standard models or a metal plate with a logo on on the special editions. Try a scrap dealer, shouldn't cost too much.

Here's a link to a Blackline one.

Apparently the plug is for a ambient noise sensing mic that was used on early models for the Bose set up. My last GT had the same unused plug.
