Mysterious fuse box appeared - HELP
Car is Alfa 156, 2.0 - 98 year model (one of the first).
After sorting out a small ABS light problem, I "discovered" a set of fuses that I never knew existed. They are located directly above the fuse box set which is located behind the dashboard under the wheel. And that's the main reason I never saw them, the are hidden basically behind the dashboard and I can't even reach them - I'd have to take the whole dashboard apart not just the little faulty box that hides the "normal" fuses.
Funny thing is that I have the original manual, which states that "some models come with extra fuses for extra operated devices like ABS, Car heaters etc". But here is the problem; the manual states that there should be 9 fuses in a grid of 3x3, but my car has 14 in a weird grid (4x3 + 2 extra on the side).
Also the manual doesn't have a diagram for these fuses, it has a rough one for the 3x3 grid but that doesn't correspond at all with the one I have (for ex. first fuse is marked as 10a in the manual, but I can clearly see that the 1st fuse is a 20a one).
So now my questions are, does someone have a diagram for this extra set of fuses? Also is there some easier way to reach them then taking the whole dashboard apart? I can reach the bottom one, which is a 15a one but the rest are a "no no".
Thanks for the help,
