After someone parked a mondeo in the boot of the 146 earlier this year, I've been looking around for another Alfa. In the meantime I've been driving an Astra Estate, which I thought was great cos I can throw any s@!t in it because I really don't give a crap about it.
Well I've found another one :-) Today I purchased a 156 2.0 TS
It's in need of a rear exhaust (although I might be able to weld it) and a rear wheel bearing. I'm currently getting prices of £40+ for the wheel bearing, is this really the price of the parts, or is there any tricks to get a cheaper one??
Is there anything else that's a common MOT failure on these, that's worth giving an eyeball before I take it in for a test in a couple of weeks.
