This has worked for me in tha past a few times.
get yourself a peice of chalk.
find yourself a nice brick wall with a nice and flat and level area in front of it.
drive your car up to the wall, but leave about a 3 foot gap between the car and the wall.
On the wall, mark with the chalk, the centres of the headlights, both verticle and horizontal. easy way is to measure the height to the centre of the headlight, mark this on the wall horizontally, then mark where the center of the car is on the wall, then measure from the centre of the car to the centre on the headlight, then mark this on the wall vertically, you should now have two cross's on the wall marking the centre's of the headlights.
Drive the car straight back 10 meters.
go back to the wall, and make two new cross's two inch's below AND two inch's to the left of the first marks you made.
go back to your car, switch on the headlights and adjust the headlights so that the point where the light "kicks up" should be aimed at the second cross's you marked.
Or go to you local garage and pay around 15-20 Euro's for them to set them....
