I'm trying to save up for the same job on my diesel GT, as my clutch is getting ridiculously heavy and now approaching 90k miles.

I've contacted some local Alfa specialists and the going rate for clutch + DMF is about 1000 (fitted, inc VAT).

Autlolusso have an interesting alternative which is an "uprated" clutch plus a single mass flywheel which works out quite a bit cheaper.

I'd be interested to hear any feedback from people on here who have had this conversion... my concern is with the Single flywheel on my remapped diesel may be very noisey and jerky to drive...

Any advice greatly appreciated!!

Screw dual mass. Go to single and learn to use better clutch control.

I know what i'd opt for. Dual mass just makes things far more expensive for little gain in smoothness.

Bit late now i know, but a few have had expensive cluch changes on the 159 forum and Wynne had his done at the place below for 350 without DMF whcih sounds good, im always nervous of these cluch places having had issues in the past but if mine plays up when it comes out again in a few weeks thats where it will be going, cant afford the 1500 it cost last time, less than 2 years ago!

880 quid to have mine changed on a 1.9

DMF is there to stop your engine torque pulses wrecking the transmission at 2k revs
