Pretty much I would say may be if the car was brand new, they also mentioned the Alfa Romeo corrosion inspection that has to be completed presumably every service, I have never heard of it anyway as I missed a service mine was not complete.... I once had an Alfasud Sprint it was a 1982 car with a 6 year rust warranty, in 1987 I asked the garage to look at some rust on the front wing - they came back and told me that although I couldn’t see it I needed 2 x front wings, 2 x sills, 1 rear valence, tailgate and rear wheel arches - obviously not a cheap repair. Alfa UK basically told me to get lost!
Fortunately things have moved on since then but I think Alfa UK attitude to warranty work still stinks!
When the wiring loom in my 2.5 year old GTV burnt out they told me it was my fault and tried to charge me £1500 eventually they reduced this down to £750...
Reading this post I don’t know why I keep buying them!
