At the risk of stating the obvious, warranties as such represent poor value for money, as they incorporate both a predicted average cost of repairs over the two years PLUS profit for both the provider and the seller of the insurance.
In other words, on average you should not expect to spend £1200 repairing your vehicle over the two years.
Then again, you may value the peace of mind, it's like an inverse gamble, knowing that you can't be stung for a huge bill......
EXCEPT that warranty insurance companies have whole departments devoted to working out ways of wriggling out of making payments on claims. And you will most likey have to pay for any repairs up front and then make your claim after.
For me, there's no way I'd pay that amount for the warranty.
Had Sud and Alfa 164 2.0 in the past. Back to Alfa with the 147 after 6 years away!
