Help EOBD warning light stays on

Hi hope someone can help,

My cam belt recently snapped while driving at 30 mph, my local garage repaired my car it took some work as the valves were bent, new water pump cam belt change and a few other things.
The only thing is now the EOBD warning light is on and it has gone into limp mode, any ideas why? i have not had time to get to my garage yet so any ideas i would appreciate.

Have you had the codes read? or do you own MES / FES?

Also, be aware the big ends usually fails after a cam belt failure.. you'd be well advised to have the bottom checked.

And even pistons can be damaged ! The piston rim hits the valve and causes the top piston ring get stuck!
Dont ask how I know
